We are raising awareness on Diabetes and other chronic illnesses
Culturally tailored diabetes support for Berkshire communities
What We Offer
01
Multilingual diabetes awareness and education
We deliver diabetes education in multiple languages, making vital health information accessible to people who may face language barriers. Through workshops, one-to-one conversations, and community outreach, we explain diabetes prevention, management, symptoms, and treatment in a way that is easy to understand and culturally relevant.

02
Community health navigation and support
Navigating healthcare services can be challenging, especially for people who are unfamiliar with the system or face communication barriers. We help individuals access the right NHS services, attend appointments with confidence, understand their care plans, and connect with local health and wellbeing resources that support their long-term health.

03
Culturally tailored dietary support
Healthy eating looks different in every culture. Our dietary support respects traditional cuisines, religious practices, and family eating habits while providing practical guidance on making healthier choices for diabetes prevention and management. We focus on realistic, sustainable changes rather than asking people to give up the foods that matter to them.

04
Peer support and community-led programmes
Living with diabetes can feel overwhelming, but no one should have to face it alone. Our peer support groups and community-led programmes bring people together to share experiences, learn from one another, and build confidence in managing their health. By working with trusted community leaders and volunteers, we create supportive environments that encourage lasting lifestyle changes.

05
Carer engagement
Family members and carers play a vital role in supporting people living with diabetes. We provide carers with the knowledge, practical advice, and resources they need to better understand the condition, support healthy daily routines, recognise potential concerns, and help their loved ones manage diabetes with greater confidence.

Why It Matters
Diabetes affects physical health significantly. it impacts daily life, family, wellbeing, and opportunity.
Diagnosis of diabetes is traumatic due to the long-term impact
We ensure that no one is disadvantaged due to language, income, culture, or postcode.
